CONSTRUCTION BEGINS ON THE WHITE CITY OVERPASS
Today’s media event celebrated that construction is now underway on the White City overpass. This vital link will connect Highway 48 to Highway 1 at White City, eliminating the need to make left turns on or off of Highway 1. The overpass will be open to traffic in 2017.
Motorists are reminded that construction on the overpass brings with it active work zones on Highway 1 and connecting roads. Traffic restrictions will be posted on the Highway Hotline and Twitter. As we head into the holiday season, please slow down and drive safely.
