Expect Brief Delays on Trans-Canada Highway 1 near Regina on Monday, January 18

Motorists are reminded to expect brief traffic delays on Mon., Jan. 18 on Trans-Canada Highway 1 on the eastern edge of Regina outside of the morning and evening commute.

Between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Highway 1 east of Tower Road near a CP railway bridge, SaskPower will be moving overhead power lines, as part of the Regina Bypass project. During this time period, motorists in both directions of travel should expect to be stopped for about two minutes.

Motorists are reminded to watch for workers and equipment and slow down to the posted speed limit through the work zone.

The patience and understanding of motorists is appreciated as work continues on the Regina Bypass project, which will improve motorists’ safety, reduce traffic congestion, and increase efficiency for truckers and shippers.
