Traffic Reminder – Access to Tower Road Closing Saturday
Access to Tower Road closing the morning of Saturday, June 3
As part of the ongoing construction of the Regina Bypass, access to Tower Road from Highway 33 and Highway 1/Victoria Avenue will NOW be permanently closed to traffic Saturday, June 3, weather permitting.
Tower Road traffic will be diverted to the new South Service Road, which runs east of the Regina Bypass and connects Highway 33 with Gravel Pit Road and beyond.
Access to Tower Road will be via Primrose Green Drive and other city street connections. Prince of Wales Drive is the City of Regina’s preferred route for traffic to travel between Arcola Avenue and Victoria Avenue where the new service road is not a practical alternative.
