Traffic Update as of May 7
Safety Message: 
 Please be advised that public traffic, walking or cycling in the work areas on the south and west sections of the Bypass (Highway11 to Highway 33) is strictly prohibited. 
For safety reasons, please stay away from the active work zones and respect the access control signage.
Traffic Update
Mainline and Rotary  
 Until June 3
 Closure of the mainline north bound from Hill Avenue to the Rotary Bridge 
 Detour all motorists via Pinkie Road to Dewdney Avenue 
 Work will include: light pole installation, fencing, patching under and over Rotary Bridge along with painting.
  
Dewdney Avenue
 Middle of  July
Close Dewdney Avenue to add the final lift of paving While Dewdney is closed for paving, both the south bound and north bound mainline from Hill Avenue to Rotary Avenue will be open. Once Dewdney Avenue reopens the south bound mainline from Rotary Avenue to Hill Avenue will be closed.
Highway 33
 Work adjacent to the road and paving

We will install a crossover on Highway 1 near the pre-screening station to allow for the final stages of installation in the west bound lanes.

As this work is being completed, motorists can expect short detours, lane closures and speed reductions. The planned construction dates are tentative and may be subject to weather
