Regina Bypass working 24-hour shifts near Tower Road

As part of the on-going Regina Bypass Project, we will now be working east of Tower Road on a 24-hour basis. The work will focus on the placement of embankment material for the Tower Road overpass and will be ongoing for the foreseeable future.

The adjacent residents have been contacted are aware of the upcoming works and RBDB will maintain a supervisor on site at all times to field any public concerns.

“By moving earth constantly now, the ground won’t freeze, which means we can continue to prepare for major work on the overpass at Tower Road and Trans-Canada Highway 1 to be started in the spring,” said Tony Playter Manager of Communications for Regina Bypass. “Weather conditions are favourable for this type of work at this time.”

Once completed, the Regina Bypass will improve motorists’ safety, reduce traffic congestion, and increase efficiency for truckers and shippers.
